Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for www.walterlutzu.it is Walter Lutzu, lighting designer, Italy. For anything about your personal data you can write to walter.lutzu@gmail.com.
What data is collected
- Contact form. When you use the form on the Contact page, your name, email address and message are sent to me by email so I can reply. The legal basis is your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b). I keep these messages only as long as needed to handle the request and any work that follows.
- Server logs. Like every website, the hosting server records technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) for security and to keep the site running. The legal basis is legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f). Logs are kept for a limited time by the hosting provider.
Visit statistics. If you accept cookies in the banner, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) to count visits and see which pages are read. Google may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded at all. No advertising or profiling tools are used, and your data is never sold or shared for marketing.
Who processes it
The site is hosted by Aruba S.p.A. (Italy), which acts as data processor. Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, without calls to external services.
Cookies
Technical cookies are needed for the site to work and do not require consent:
- WordPress login cookies (
wordpress_*,wp-settings-*), set only for the site administrator. - Cache and security cookies that the hosting platform may set to deliver pages quickly and protect the site.
Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, set by Google Analytics, lasting up to 2 years) are used only if you click Accept in the cookie banner. Closing the banner or clicking Reject means no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered for 6 months, and you can change it at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
No profiling or advertising cookies are used. Videos from YouTube are not loaded automatically: a video starts loading from youtube-nocookie.com only when you click on it, and from that moment YouTube (Google) may process your data under its own privacy policy. The same applies to the LinkedIn post on the home page: it loads from linkedin.com only when you click on it, and from that moment LinkedIn may process your data under its own privacy policy. You can also delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings.
Links to other websites (for example LightSoundJournal, ZioGiorgio, LinkedIn or Photonika) take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format (GDPR arts. 15–22). Just write to the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
