Comfort Festival 2024

The third edition of Comfort Festival® took place on Sunday 7 July 2024 at the Nuova Darsena in Ferrara, organised by Barley Arts. The festival moved to the renewed waterfront area of the Darsena, where the land meets the water, and the new setting was welcomed by audience and critics alike for its atmosphere, perfect for music at sunset.

The formula is the one Claudio Trotta wanted: no race for mass numbers, but a human, relaxed scale designed to let people enjoy the music, with a fair ticket price. From the early afternoon the day ran through roots, blues, classic rock, soul and country: The Gaslight Anthem as headliners, back in Italy after years away, Gary Clark Jr., Rival Sons, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes in their only Italian date, and opening sets by Savana Funk, Hardwicke Circus and Lovesick.
