Venerus · Tour Segreto 2023

In June 2023 Venerus released Il Segreto, his second album, recorded live with his band in their home studio in Milan, without click or overdubs: in his own words, a manifesto for human music in a world heading towards artificial intelligence. That summer he took it on the road with the Tour Segreto 2023, produced by Vertigo, across the main Italian summer festivals.

After the production rehearsals in Treviglio, the tour opened at Artico Festival in Bra on 23 June and went on to the Cavea of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome for Roma Summer Fest, Goa Boa in Genoa, Tener-a-mente at the Vittoriale in Gardone Riviera, Sherwood Festival in Padua, Noisy Naples Fest, Corona Sunsets in Lajatico, Beky Bay in Rimini, Tagghiate Urban Fest in Melpignano and Alcart Festival in Alcamo, closing in September at Poplar Festival in Trento.

With GM Music as lighting service, I was lighting designer and lighting operator for the whole tour: one show that had to keep its identity on very different festival stages, from city arenas to quarries and seaside venues.
